At the heart of it all, we believe that spiritual self-inquiry and ascent can, and ought to, be fun.
All too often the healing journey can feel lonely and heavy. While we by no means suggest avoiding uncomfortable emotions or intrusive thoughts that arise as we face our shadow, we have come to see that profound spiritual work can also be joyful, creative, practical, and empowered through the containers of partnership and community. We come together not just to commiserate in childhood trauma but to celebrate each other’s unique role in this play of life and our gift of Grace—our surrender to the mysterious workings of God/Spirit, the universal story of Love working behind the scenes in our lives, on the planet, and throughout the universe right Now.
We recognize that we are all connected by our shared humanity, by the unified field of consciousness, and we believe that each of us on the planet is evolving on the soul’s heroic journey. We acknowledge that we are all already progressing in our psychospiritual growth just by breathing and going about each day; we believe we are learning our Love Lessons through our very lived experiences. We do not suggest that you must believe or act as we do, as the Way looks different for each of us individually. We commit to honor Free Will by not attempting to bend the will of others, either overtly through control or subtly through persuasion.
We are not a religion, defined by rules of belief or conduct based in a specific wisdom tradition, nor are we ‘spiritual’ in the modern context of spiritual materialism, i.e., what form or specialness one ought to look or act like to call oneself ‘spiritual.’ While there are practices that may help to purify the mind, raise the level of consciousness, and embody more spiritual light, we do not require strict regulations of behavior, dress, diet, or exercise as part of membership. An emphasis on ‘doing’ spirituality can further perpetuate an internal imbalance where we avoid simply ‘being’ in present-awareness, the access point to our intuition.
While working with oracle or tarot cards is one of our modalities, intuitive card readings are not psychic predictions; we do not claim accuracy in predicting the future as the purpose of our readings. Cards are simply a tool for translating energy through symbolic language, and we ensure to create a sacred container aligned to the Highest Power (God) prior to using cards. We do not consider ourselves channels or mediums; while there are infinite astral realms that can be explored, we are seeking direct experience of the Supreme Reality (what you may call God, or Love) through strengthening our connection to our intuition, the essence of our soul and the voice of the Higher Self or Divine Indweller. In any given context, we may reference terms related to transpersonal psychology, the science of consciousness, or sacred wisdom traditions to describe the process of holistic (spirit, mind, body) development.
We are not a Law of Attraction or manifestation group. We are not focused on manipulating Natural Law or developing siddhis, supernatural powers, as a means for the ego to attain its desires for wealth, status, or other external rewards. There is a reason why many a cautionary tale exists about the power of wish-granting when the small self is in charge. We in the West have also seen the results of a culture and society that defines success solely on egocentric factors such as socioeconomic status. While we may explore Natural Law and spiritual tools as a means to co-create with the cosmos as part of our programming, we do so with the understanding that we are always aligning our personal will with Higher Will so that what is created through us is for our highest good, and for the highest good of all.
We are on the householder’s path. Our work is to belong and thrive in both the outer material and inner contemplative, multidimensional, worlds so that we continuously seek the divine inwardly as we also contribute to our everyday lives and social ecosystems outwardly. We pray and meditate; we wash the dishes and fold laundry. We tend to our families and businesses as a sacred act. Through this process, we are integrating our sense of personal, professional, and spiritual identity towards greater authenticity and fulfillment.
